Kempsey & Macleay Kennel Club wish to invite any members of Dogs NSW to attend the clubs Tracking Workshop, to be presented by Tracey Knox, Tracking Judge & Instructor. "Tracking made easy" will be designed to start beginners into this wonderful discipline. Tracking can be accomplished by most breeds of dogs and those who's dogs currently track will tell you the Dogs love it. So if you are looking to try something new with your best friend, here is a great opportunity.

Dates: 27th - 29th June 2008 - Friday night being an information, questions & answers session

Participants with dogs limited to 24 over the weekend, unlimited observers welcome. This will enable dogs to have a minimum of one tracking run each, depending on final numbers - if less than 24 attending then some may get 2 runs. Workshop for beginner tracking dog and handlers only, acreage does not permit longer runs for higher qualified dogs.

Tracey Knox will be tracking with her Hungarian Viszla, Hattie, who has her TDX title and, by then, may have her Tracking Champion title. Participants will be able to see a trained tracking dog in action!

Costs for the weekend have been set at    $15.00 for people bringing dogs,           $10.00 for observers 

This includes all talks and training sessions, light supper on Friday night, morning tea on Saturday & Sunday, lunch and afternoon tea on Saturday. Lunch on Saturday will be a sausage sizzle. We only wish to cover costs for weekend and Tracey has kindly donated her time for free. We will be giving her compensation for her travel costs (ie petrol).
